Roof Soft Washing for Miami Tile Roofs

If your Miami tile roof has dark streaks, that is usually Gloeocapsa magma — roof algae — not just age. It spreads in our humidity and makes a roof look years older than it is.

High-pressure washing is a bad fit for barrel and flat tile. The blast can crack tiles, strip glaze, and push water under laps. That turns a cosmetic job into a leak.

Soft washing applies a cleaner at low pressure, lets it dwell, then rinses. The algae dies and rinses off without chewing the tile. Gutters and nearby plants get protected during the rinse.

Most Miami roofs look better after one treatment and stay cleaner longer if you wash on a regular cycle instead of waiting until the streaks cover the whole slope.

Charlie's Pressure Washing soft-washes tile roofs across Miami-Dade. Call or text (786) 894-6585 for a free roof walk-through and quote.
