Pressure Washing vs Soft Washing in Miami

Miami exteriors take a beating from sun, salt air, and rainy-season mildew. The right wash method matters more here than in a dry climate.

Pressure washing uses a high-pressure stream. It is the right tool for driveways, sidewalks, parking pads, and most concrete. It knocks off dirt and algae that have bonded to hard surfaces.

Soft washing uses lower pressure and a cleaning solution. That is what we use on tile roofs, painted stucco, and other finishes that chip or etch if you hit them with a 3000 PSI wand.

Black streaks on Miami tile roofs are usually algae, not just dirt. Blasting them with high pressure can crack tiles and drive water under the roof. Soft wash lifts the algae without chewing up the surface.

If you are not sure which method a surface needs, we walk the job and quote both. Call or text (786) 894-6585 for a free on-site estimate in Miami-Dade, Coral Gables, Doral, Miami Beach, or Pinecrest.
