How Often Should You Pressure Wash a Miami Driveway?

Miami driveways do not stay clean the way they do up north. After rainy season, mildew and algae come back on concrete, pavers, and the joints between them.

For most homes here, once or twice a year is the sweet spot. Wash after the heaviest rain months if the surface is turning green or slick. Homes under trees or near the bay may need it more often.

Pavers need a different touch than poured concrete. Too much pressure can blow out joint sand. We clean the surface, then you can re-sand if the joints opened up.

A clean driveway is also safer. Wet algae on a slope is a slip hazard for kids, guests, and delivery drivers.

If your driveway or sidewalk is due, Charlie's Pressure Washing will walk the job and quote on site. Call or text (786) 894-6585. We cover Miami-Dade, Coral Gables, Doral, Miami Beach, and Pinecrest.
